Q: What is ShowEast?

A: ShowEast is the only convention and trade show for the motion picture exhibition and distribution community on the East Coast. Cinema Exhibition professionals come to ShowEast for exciting film screenings of major studio and independent feature films slated for holiday release as well as product reel presentations of upcoming product, exciting special events with Hollywood's hottest stars, educational seminars and to find the latest products, services and technologies at the trade show. Distribution professionals come to ShowEast to network with customers.

A: ShowEast is held at the Marriott Orlando World Center in Orlando, Florida, in October.

A: No, ShowEast is a trade event for companies the movie theatre industry.

Q: How do I register for ShowEast?

Q: Is there a cost to attend ShowEast?

A: Yes, there is a cost to attend ShowEast and there are different options. We suggest you choose the Full Registration Package so you have complete access to all of the exciting features of ShowEast. Please visit the ShowEast Registration page for details.

Q: Who is exhibiting at ShowEast?

A: All of the major equipment and concessions manufacturers, suppliers and distributors exhibit at the ShowEast trade show. Please visit the Trade Show & Exhibitor Information section of the ShowEast website for the up-to-the-minute exhibitor list and floorplan.

Q: When will the Schedule of Events be posted on the ShowEast website?

A: The Schedule of Events for ShowEast is posted on the website closer to the show so that we can provide you with the most accurate information possible. Much of the show's content, such as the film screenings, are provided by the movie studios, and they are subject to change. The Schedule of Events is updated weekly on the website, so please bookmark the Schedule of Events page and check back often.

Q: I already go to ShoWest. Why would I need to go to ShowEast?

A: There are many reasons why attending both ShoWest and ShowEast make good business sense. When you attend ShoWest in March, you are able to network with peers, learn about the latest developments and issues in the industry, find vendors at the trade show as well as see screenings of upcoming summer films. But what about the rest of the year? By attending ShowEast in October, you are able to continue the momentum you started at ShoWest by meeting with business associates and working with existing vendors and finding new ones at the trade show, continuing your industry education, as well as being able to preview films for holiday release. Attending both ShoWest and ShowEast enables you to make smart purchasing and programming decisions for the entire year.

Q: My company may be interested in exhibiting at ShowEast. How do I know if my products are a good fit?

A: Movie theatre owners and operators are always looking for new products, services and technologies to improve their theatres. Whether it's the traditional needs such as ticketing, booth projection equipment, digital cinema equipment, seating or concessions or products and services to upgrade or maintain their theatres like carpeting, construction, interior design, security systems and uniforms.
